In Matthew 5:6, Jesus declared: "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled".
Hunger for spiritual things is very important. We should always apply our minds to do more for the Lord, constantly seeking to please him in all things. The Word declares in Romans 8:5,6 "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace".
