VMC FIELD REPORT
MEDICAL OUTREACH TO THE THOGOTO HOME FOR THE AGED IN KENYA
P.C.E.A Thogoto Home for the Aged is located in Kikuyu, Kiambu County . It serves as shelter for the elderly people who are homeless, abandoned or in great need.
The visit to this home was carried out by the VMC BLW Kenya team.
The 31 senior citizens present had the Word of God preached to them and they all listened with rapt attention. There were 6 of them who had been sick in their bodies and they were ministered to.
The team donated gifts ( food items, toiletries and drugs) to the home as well as copies of the Rhapsody of Realities devotional.
The Manager of the institution expressed the gratitude of the senior citizens when she said;
”The gifts that you have brought will last us for several weeks. The smiles that you have put on their faces today have shown them that they are loved and cared for.
They cannot repay you but they will pray for you that God will keep you all in perfect health and expand your territories. The doors are wide open for you to come and visit us again. God bless you”
