SAFETY TIPS FOR KIDS AT PLAY
1. Ensure that kids are supervised by an adult while they are at play.
2. Keep toys with sharp edges or removable parts away from small children who can easily get injured by them or can become at risk for choking on the small parts.
3. Ensure that kids who are riding bicycles wear their helmets the right way. It should be the right size, should fit comfortably, and should be securely fitted in place.

4. Kids should be encouraged to ride their bicycles only on safe roads and not on busy highways where the risk of injuries is higher.
5. Kids should be encouraged to wear the right kind of footwear especially for sports like soccer, football, tennis, or basketball. Also, for other contact sports, the right kind of uniforms and protective wear will help prevent injuries.
6. Avoid giving little children toys in their original packages as they can get injured by the staples or choke on the nylon wrappers.
7. To reduce the risk of strangulation, do not allow unsupervised play with toys that are designed with strings and cords.
8. To prevent drowning, kids who can swim must never be left to play in a pool unattended.
